New favorite sponge. Checks ALL my criteria (yes I have the qualities I look for in sponges. I was born to write this review) - 2 sides, soft and scrubbing. The cleaning side is rough enough (yes, I found the perfect word to describe the rough side of a sponge) to effectively remove crust and dirt, but I don't feel the material will damage my pots and pans. - Lathers well - Long. Longer than any other sponge I've used which I think is an advantage for being able to fold it around frames and edges and into longer glasses. wet tiny raccoon hands. Thick but not as unwieldy, and the material isn't so stiff that it doesn't stop me from squeezing it all into a jar to manipulate tiny spaces. But it didn't flatten out and didn't lose its shape too much - It doesn't dry out to a crust like ordinary sponges. * Purple sponge is used in the photo; The orange sponge is brand new.
