We recently renovated our master bathroom and I needed to upgrade our fan/lighting. Pulling out the old fan box was a bit tricky, but the new box fit in easily. This location had an attic upstairs, so a lot of the insulation was blown. I would suggest putting the insulation back on once the installation is complete. Once installed, wiring it up with my existing two-switch system was a breeze, and the Surface Shield feature works great. In this current era of COVID19 I see UV technology everywhere and I'm glad we chose this option. The fan is quiet and powerful enough for a large master suite.
