I've been using Dri Wash n Guard Ultra-Ion on my black cars for over 10 years. It cleans without swirl marks or scratches and leaves a beautiful shine. Be sure to follow the instructions carefully to avoid surface damage, but it's actually very easy to keep your cars looking good. Black paint can be unforgiving, but I've never seen any sign of damage. To apply, spray on, wipe off and then buff with a clean microfiber cloth. I live in a desert area with no road salt so no worries about corrosion. I wash my car about twice a year under normal conditions to keep the undercarriage clean and then use Dri Wash about once a month, more often during the rainy season. I use a California rag to blow off dust between uses. Dri Wash works great on glass. It cleans the windscreen without leaving streaks and has the advantage of helping to catch water droplets when driving in the rain. Be sure to use the recommended sprayer, it's much easier to apply the right amount of product. And, yes, I am paying for the product - my rating is based on the fact that I really like how it works!
