This cooler really is a good choice when it comes to price, performance, size and installation. It's not as huge and heavy as the really hard big airs, although it's very high. Make sure you have enough free space in your suitcase for its height! I can't speak to Intel's experience, but the AMD Socket AM4 memory engine is fantastic. One of the easiest installs I've ever done on a secondary radiator. The included fan is pretty quiet at full speed, so I'm not worried about it slowing down in cooler temperatures. The AS500 comes with a second set of fan clips in the box should you wish to add another fan for push/pull operation. I didn't, but it's nice to have the option and many manufacturers require you to purchase additional fan clips separately, much appreciated, Deepcool! With this cooler my Ryzen 5 3600X (not overclocked mind you) stays below 65°C under full load stress test. I am more than satisfied with the price and the practical design. The RGB address cap is a nice bonus too!
