The string fell apart after the first wash even though I followed care instructions. It created a choking hazard for my 8mo if he were to pull on it and as most babies do, put it in his mouth. I've bought and used several tools from Aoyue. Generally I expect a tool that more of less gets the job done for a fraction of the price of what I would get from Weller of Hakko. Not the case here. The price is low yes, but the tool is just awful. The temperature on my unit was WAY off, and the fine tips out of the box will not transfer enough heat to even remove a 1210 capacitor in less then 10 or so seconds (yes after heat adjustment).
