This butter dish is adorable! I wanted something better than my clear glass butter dish that held only one stick of butter and looked a little messy once the butter had been touched. This fits the bill. It's the perfect depth and size I needed. I don't mind that there isn't a rubber seal - those end up being a pain to clean or they fall off anyway. Lid sits evenly on the top. They include a cute little thank you card that makes it seem a little more personal. Totally happy with my purchase!

i really like this butter tub but the sides seem to get loaded with butter and when i put the top over the tub, the butter gets all over the top.really do not adv ise others to get it.sometimes there is extra butter on a knife and i scrape off the butter on the edge of the container which results in the top lid getting butter all over the edges.otherwie it is a good product but maybe not so much for me.i would probably recommend another item to anyone else and I might just purchase something…

I wrote a review when I got the dish because I was impressed with the quality of the dish. I loved it and gave it to my husband as a stocking stuffer Christmas gift because he loathed the butter dish we had. He LOVES it! It is perfect. The top is easy to remove and it is easy to clean. Our old one was a hot mess so this is a great improvement and it looks really cute on the counter. Even the box it comes in is very attractive. I've used various different style butter dishes over the years. Typically, I've used the style where a single stick of butter sits on a flat base with a rectangular or dome shaped covering over top. These work alright, but you always end up getting butter on the lid and they require almost constant wiping and cleaning. Love that this butter dish is not glass or ceramic. I don't have to worry when it gets moved around or if I were to drop it. Wow straight up false advertising on an ebay Choice product. Claims to be "ceramic" but read the description in detail which refers to "high end durable steel". Basically a fancy way of describing painted sheet metal. Not ceramic so you cannot microwave it. Made in China label. Perfect for my Kerry Gold butter! (Or 2 sticks of butter). And I love the fact that if my butter gets melty it’s in a deep dish. The only thing is that the lid does come off easily so don’t pick it up by the lid. Other than that I love it and I get compliments on it all the time.
