This pad holder is made of cushioned, light weight vinyl, which is actually very nice. The product description mentions a pocket in the top flap for stashing notes; I think that pocket is actually where the top flap of the writing pad is supposed to go, though it makes opening and closing the pad with cover rather awkward. Other reviews mentioned the small pen loop; it's apparently intended for a slender pen, but you can still use it by slipping the clip of your G2 through it instead of the pen itself.Without the pad cover, my Rhodia pads sure get to looking trashy after a few months. Here's hoping the vinyl cover lasts longer than that.
