Great MagSafe car holder without charging

This product is used with iPhone 12 Pro Max, Case-Mate MagSafe case (case with built-in magnets) and Mazda CX-5 2019. The car has wired CarPlay so there is no need for a charging cradle as the cable needs to be plugged in directly anyway. The mount has a matte black finish that looks sleek and premium. The chrome ring around the magnetic part adds shine. The ball joint attachment is tight, at least on first use. There's a soft, flat black panel that the phone is attached to. It doesn't quite line up with the chrome trim at one point, and I can see the edge of a magnet sticking out. But I don't really care. I suspect if this pad ever breaks off it won't be difficult to find a suitable replacement. Strong magnetic holding power with case marked, but phone can be easily removed with one peel motion if needed. The mount does not wobble and the phone does not rotate during movement, even if there is no corresponding vertical row of magnets on the mount. Only time will tell if the mounting ball will loosen too much over time, but for now it's very tight. It is best to adjust it once and leave it in this position and then simply turn it as required. It used to be a secure Pro-Clip C mount that snaps into the underside of the dash and then into the space just above the air vent. Works well but with the necessary phone mount it looks complicated/cluttered and places the phone too far from the dashboard. The PZOZ mount is much smaller and less obtrusive, and with the chrome accent it blends in nicely with my car's interior. Due to the multi-curved surfaces on my dashboard and the particular area I prefer to place on my phone, there isn't a perfectly flat area for a perfect grip. I found the flattest area within my preferred placement tolerances, resulting in approximately 80% adhesion of the 3M round tape to the bottom of the mount. At this point, and after waiting 24 hours as recommended before actual use, the band appears to be holding up, but again only time will tell. Overall very happy with this mount so far both visually and functionally and really good value for money. I suspect mileage will depend on vehicle type, placement, and quality of case if you're using one, and the case itself must undoubtedly contain MagSafe.
