The box was pretty shabby when I received it but luckily all the components were individually wrapped and all the parts were in good condition. In preparation for assembly, I recommend laying out all the components and reading the instructions. This thing is like a giant kit, and getting to know each part will save you a lot of time. With that in mind, I will repeat what other customers have written about instructions that present the problem. Now that I'm done, I understand them perfectly, but when I look at them for the first time, I'm aware of the problems. The drawing showing the piece assembled is incorrect as it does not correctly show the sides of the angel which overlap. See the photo in the listing and the correct image. photo in the instructions. Second, individual parts are not marked (nuts and bolts are). You must have either a letter on a sticker or a drawing of the part with dimensions in the instructions. An assembly video would be nice. Otherwise the quality is great. The zinc plating looks good and the bolts and nuts are all stainless steel. Considering the weight of the fan, I would have liked a stronger bearing, but have to assume the kit provided will fit. The construction itself is solid when tightened and I trust it will last.
