Review on 📀 Samsung DVD-C631P: A Top-Notch 5-Disc Progressive-Scan DVD Player by Theodore Huynh

Good. word of warning. I'm not a techie or audio/video expert. I can't define "progressive scan" or anything like that. I'm just a guy who had to replace the first DVD player (KLH Audio Single Disc Player) with a better brand. I went with the 5 disc model if I ever get my hands on a DVD movie like the extended version of The Lord of the Rings or the Steven Spielberg Film Festival or can listen to music for several hours without switching discs need or DVDs. In fact, what I was most concerned about was the quality versus value ratio. Obviously the KLH audio DVD player I had before had its issues. It often froze, refused to obey scene selection commands, and had trouble reading post-2000 DVDs. The worst downside was that it could NOT read any extras from post-2001 DVDs. It was good for all kinds of movies. path from the beginning, but if you tried to watch the DVD from another scene that wasn't the very first "chapter" forget it. I quickly realized that I needed a more reliable player and the Samsung DVD-C631P progressive scan 5 disc DVD player is definitely reliable. Loading more than one disc obviously takes more time, but the carousel works with DVDs and CDs more smoothly than the loading tray of a single-disc player. So far it has randomly played every movie I've tried, including a DVD that the KLH audio player has always refused to 'read', meaning KLH uses cheaper components than the higher-end Samsung brand in its players. Since my TV is also a Samsung product, I didn't have to go to the setup screen. The remote takes a bit of getting used to when switching from a DVD brand to Samsung, but that's to be expected. All in all, if you are looking for a good DVD player at an affordable price, I wholeheartedly recommend the Samsung DVD-C631P progressive scan 5-disc DVD player.
