Installed under the hard top of a boat to control a new LED matrix. The box comes with eight 12 gauge pigtails that protrude about 6 inches from the back of the box. This would be ideal for under dash installations or similar installations where you have room for external connections. There wasn't room in my setup and the 12 gauge wire is gross overkill for my total LED switch load of less than an amp. I removed the pigtails and connected the 22 gauge LED wiring and power supply directly to the junction box switches and fuses. All internal wiring terminates in spade connectors with a socket. Much cleaner decor for this unique place. I would go with the external connectors and the original pigtails if you have the space. Highly recommend this box for any application that requires up to 6 SPST (single pole, single throw) switches.
