I have an 8 lb Maltese dog whose 3 year old winter coat is a bit worn. I bought her a different style and brand last year; However, it didn't work as the manufacturer claims were far from it. I was pleasantly surprised when I put this coat on her and it fit perfectly. My advice is to stick to the sizing chart and be more concerned with neck and bust size than length. I can't say enough good things about the coat itself. The material is of good quality on both sides, the stitching is strong and durable and Lexi looks damn cute in it. She loves her fleece blankets so I knew she would love the fleece against her skin. It is perfect for cold rainy autumn days and cold snowy days in winter. When she finally wears this coat I will definitely visit this seller again!
