This is a good dog coat but I had to give it four stars because it's not heavy at all. We live in upstate New York with very cold winters. I wanted this for our pomeranian because he gets very cold. I especially wanted him to cover his chest where his long hair gathers snowballs and ice. It doesn't cover the chest at all.
