The original clippers for my kitten were too large and since his paws are still tiny, it was hard to find the nail and not get the quick (I thankfully did not get it). These are great because they are small, fit in the hand perfectly, and it allows me to clip his nails quickly before he knows what's going on and starts moving around. Unlike other clippers, these are small enough where I can see the quick and snip the nails efficiently. Would recommend for cats.

My cats hate getting their nails cut. They wiggle and maneuver until they break free from me. I have to move fast when cutting nails, and with my old scissors it was hard to see where the underlying vein is. That is not the case here; these scissors are better quality and I can grip them easier. With these, you can easily see where the underlying vein is to avoid any bleeding. Highly recommend these over any of the cheaper kind with less sturdy handles.

I have one VERY jittery bun, who does NOT like getting his claws clipped. I think it's because of the sound it makes when clipping. Plus he doesn't like being held really so that factors in as well. However these little clippers work so well! I don't like the idea of trancing bunnies, so we do it the old-fashioned way. I have purchased many clippers to trim my kitty's claws but none are ever sharp enough to clip through without making her uncomfortable. These clippers were sharp enough to snip on the first clip and have not dulled at all after multiple uses. Bought these and cut my kitties nails for the first time. They work perfect! Was easy to handle and work great ! May not be suitable for pets with thin or brittle nails.

I wasn't sure if I would like these because I wasn't sure if I would the style. It took a little getting used to but I ended up really liking them! Easier to use than regular clippers and very affordable price.

I can’t believe I’ve never gotten this style pet nail scissors before. This is soooo much faster and easier to use for out little dogs than clippers we used to use. It feels more comfortable on your hand than regular fog nail clippers as well It’s made nail clipping so much less of a chore. I really recommend it if you have small dogs!

The most difficult part of using the product was the squirminess of the cats for which the trimmer was bought for. I hope over time they will become more at ease with the process. Treats help.

I just purchased these and used them today for the first time to trim my cats claws. So far I'm very impressed! I've always bought cheap basic nail clippers that never seem to cut all the way through the nail on the first go, and half the time I'd end up with jagged edged claws. These clippers cut right through with no issues and no extra work. I bought the "bent" ones and I think it helped to get a good angle on the nail. I'd definitely recommend these!

To be fair, my cats are pretty chill. However! These are incredibly easy to use and cut through the nails easily.The main thing to know! Is that these DO NOT indicate how deep to cut the nails: it is ON YOU to make sure you don't cut the nails back too far. That is not a drawback, for me, for this product. My cats stayed pretty still and I kept an eye for the sensitive part of their nails. No problem, and no injuries.

I’m a professional dog nail clipper and have been using these clippers for over a year.They are my "go to’s” for every dog! They are still sharp and it isn't stiff. Thats what I love about these! Most nail clippers like these are way too hard to open and when you have a feisty dog that wants to move, its important to have clippers that can open and move away fast and comfortably! If I dont have these with me, I panic. These need to be in everybody’s grooming kit!

First time cutting my 8.8 lb chihuahua’s nails and had no problem! Was very worried I would have a hard time because she doesn’t really like you touching her paws or nails. However, it was very easy to do trim her nails and she didn’t even pull away! This is my first time using pet nail clippers so I have nothing to compare it to. It doesn’t give the sharpest cut so it would have been nice if there was a nail file included. All in all, I’m glad I purchased.

Be sure you can see the nail well, wear glasses if you can't. I was able to cut 4 nails before my cat wondered what the heck I was doing. While telling her it was all right, I wrapped her in a towel and kind of leaned on her lightly to hold her in place then carefully cut the last 4. She'd been declawed before I got her, and only has 4 nails on each of her rear claws. She is very sensitive about what is done to her feet.
