These clippers worked great until my cat caught on. But, i.did.get them all clipped! I don't have anyone to help me cut his claws (which are currently destroying my $5k in leather couches). So, these clippers really helped.

I love the fact that this product was only 6 dollars. Most pet stores have cheaply made ones that sell for $10+ I love these they are durable sharp and comfortable to use! Great quality!

Maybe these are better suited for cats. Dogs have thicker nails, so when I use this on my toy poodles it makes a loud cracking noise and they probably feels the pressure of their nails getting cut off. This alarms them and they think I am chopping off their paw.I need to go back to using clippers with the springs.

These were recommended by a vet tech friend. Perhaps because I've always used people nail clippers, but I find these awkward to use. You have to get the nail just so to clip. My kitties are not fond of nail trims and it takes me too long to work these clippers. Sadly, these do not get used.

Simple to use for this first time cat owner. My kitten was use to having nails trimmed from the foster home she was in. So I had no problems with these.

Cuts just fine, but handles are very stiff. Even after oiling them they would not loosen up, makes it very uncomfortable to use.

a) The angled head allows you to keep the cutters perpendicular to the cat's paw. Only problem is that when you change hands, you must rotate the scissors to maintain the correct orientation.b) I didn't cut a single quick (cause the claw to bleed) as I sometimes did with the previous clippers.c) These are wickedly sharp. No resistance in cutting through the claw.I highly recommend these over "human" nail clippers.

I love these. I’ve always used the scissor-style claw trimmers (I learned how to trim claws in 1998 as a young teenager), but I’ve never had angled ones. They’re so great! I love them so much! They make it easier to get to the claws at the right angle so that I don’t have to turn the cat upside down to trim her claws (which she fully appreciates). Thank you!

Overall, okay product. Gets the job done but have to apply force to open or close without even cutting nails. Bought these for cats/small dogs as I’m a groomer and need them daily, but will end up keeping them as a backup and getting another pair.

Although this was advertised for small dogs (I have Chinese Cresteds) they just don't work well even on this small size. Cut was ragged and not good. The product is nicely made and think it would be good for cats but would not recommend for any small dog.

Worked great and were easy to use. The guard that slides up and down to keep them closed has already broken but that’s not a huge loss. Good product, as long as nothing else breaks. Lol
