This product is suitable for testing battery capacity IF you can find or know the CCA or equivalent rating of the battery. Without this information, the results are meaningless. It is also advertised and has functions for testing the starting system and charging system, but the manual does not go into these tests, the results are uninterpretable, and the company website does not even list this model, let alone information about it. . I wanted to evaluate all three tests, but the last two are meaningless information with no information on how to interpret the results. Not beneficial if only 1/3 of the features provide meaningful results. Even battery capacity tests have serious limitations. They must be connected directly to the battery to get correct results (not easy on cars with a battery under the trunk/spare tire), and there is no interpretation of what internal resistance and other readings are good, bad, or don't care.
