Review on Joomra Barefoot Minimalist Athletic Breathable Men's Shoes by William Anacker

Order less for a comfortable fit.

I got back into minimalist shoe fashion for the first time in 9 months. I love them because I wear them to other people's homes when I take off my other minimalist shoes to visit them. I have these shoes for indoor activities and the size 12 is for outdoor activities. Joomra is written on the cuff and Whitin on the sole. I have a pair of Whitin size 12 and wear them outside. This is 11.5 and they are the same except for the naming stitches. It's probably just a rebranding that's very common in the industry. I have other size 12 Whitins and will continue to buy them. They are not very durable on rough hard surfaces like concrete and asphalt. I just walk, no running, no aggressive movements. If you walk on the sidewalk one day, most likely the sole of the ball of foot/front pad will wear out. I love her on the grass where I usually walk. They protect my feet from thorns, but not from thorns or cactus needles. I think they are good for training in the gym or on the lawn. I think in the beginning I would go down half a size when working with it. Then look and maybe zoom out to full size. I see them more like aggressive Pilates socks. I recommend less because if they're too loose, sideways movement will cause them to slip and "roll". I feel the smaller size is snugger and holds tighter than my 12's. The underside is really grippy, which is why it wears out so quickly on sidewalks. They feel great on grass, you can actually bend your legs and curl your toes to stretch and mobilize your entire foot. It really helped strengthen my feet as they pick up all sorts of fluff, dust, dirt, grass, dirt, sand, pebbles, anything but the same goes for the most minimalist shoes. I have advised older people to wear them indoors to prevent slipping, only in socks. I wear normal socks, then these. If only worn at home, normal size will do. They are snug so if you have swollen feet you might want to go up a size as it takes a little time to get on and off. They're similar to the simple brown ankle scrunchie from the 1980s but not as big. They offer compression like men's socks or women's pant socks. Not as much as compression stockings or an ankle brace. I haven't washed mine yet but I need to hose down and clean the soles or use a bucket or wash tub and brush. Soles collect scrap. With all due respect, it has just been renamed Whitin's. As for the Whitin, my favorite is running shoes, they look like water toe shoes but they're not. They offer good sole protection and I wear them to the store, to the parking lot and to events. I also have a pair of Whitin canvas casuals that blistered the ball of my foot while walking. In total I have two pairs of these sneakers in size 11.5 and 12. I will buy another pair in size 11.5. It's just a spandex-like material with a thick, grippy rubber outsole and side ridges. I've seen these gloves before. It's thick, grippy rubber, not slippery vinyl like some gloves. It's like you can stand in 1/8 inch thick water and stay dry until you lift it.

Cons
