Review on 💪 Enhance Performance with Walbro GSL392-400-939 High Pressure Inline Fuel Pump: Universal External Pump, 255LPH by Darin Grosz

Arrived soaked in grease that should be inside the pump, not outside. Even the silica gel bag was wet. I installed it anyway. It worked fine for the first few minutes. The pressure on the gauge under my hood was strong and stable. At first the engine pulled hard. Everything changed in 10 minutes. The pump began to emit a piercing screech. The engine died on the freeway. I was able to hobble home with a few more unscheduled stops. During operation, the pressure gauge jumped wildly and showed low average values. The pump felt hot. I'm going back to the PartsUSA dealer and (a triumph of hope over experience!) ordering another one. One of the electrical connection bolts was broken when removed. I hope they don't fool me. This is the pump plus installation kit. Not all photos in the listing show the complete set. It's nice to have spike fittings and all other parts included. Annoyingly, the pump is narrower than the de facto Bosch 60mm standard, even with the included neoprene sleeve for those using the standard mounting bracket. It would also be nice if the power poles were the same as at Bosch. This is thicker and stronger. But it was nice to have grub screws, nuts and washers included. As I said, one broke off while removing it. I will update the information when I receive the replacement pump.
