I had an old PS3 with an 80GB hard drive that was running out of space. I use an external USB stick for all my audio and video files, but I have a few games stored on this system. It ran a bit slow and didn't have enough space. System files take up almost half of the disk space! I bought this item because we have used them before at work on laptops and they have worked great. It got to me 2 days after shipping. Very nicely packaged and protected by the seller. They used more than enough bubble wrap and I wasn't worried about it being mishandled during shipping. I was almost tempted to drop it and see how well it was packaged, but resisted the urge. The drive comes with a full manufacturer's warranty and the seller's itemized invoice includes the drive's serial number in case there are any problems in the future. It took me about 5 minutes to swap out the old hard drive, plug it into my PS3 and get it working. I also installed a few games and some add-on packs afterwards and found that the install time was much quicker than if I had to download the same content onto my old drive. In general very satisfied. Will update if anything comes up, but so far so good.
