I discovered some time ago that my husband enjoys a good sugar scrub, and he gives one too. Since then, I love to look for new products that I think will appeal to both of us, and this one definitely fits the bill. It smells like oranges so it's not too feminine, but it smells great. It's a very positive sensory experience.The grit of the sugar is fine, so while it can feel rough, depending on the pressure used, it's not painful, and instead of feeling oily, it leathers up a bit. It's easy to spread around. This one rinses easier than some oil-based scrubs, and will leave skin feeling soft and hydrated. It does not leave any oily residue at all.The packaging is pretty, but at first I thought it would only last for one good couple scrub, but after using some of it, it's obvious that it spreads very easily and it combines with water so it doesn't take as much as some other spreads. It's not a good spread to keep the water running though, so if you're showering turn the water off while you scrub up.I used a bit alone, and we used some of it together and there's still enough for another session. However, because it's fun we get very generous with it. It feels really good to get a backside scrub with this. If I were using it alone just to exfoliate, I would probably get 6 to 7 sessions out of it easily.This would be great to use before self-tanning.It rinses extremely clean and easily.The scent lasts but it is not strong once it's rinsed off, it just smells fresh and clean.
