I have purchased a Tccmebius model S865 multifunctional hard drive docking station from Revain. I have a 3.5" Quantum Fireball Plus KX series IDE drive P/N 5501112 that will not work with this docking station. The problem is that the drive hole prevents the IDE connector from mating with the IDE connector. Plastic The dock won't let you move the drive to the back of the dock, the 1/8" is required to match the male connector on the drive to the female connector on the dock. The only way to adjust the dock was to cut the plastic preventing the drive from moving towards the back of the dock The annotated photo shows how the slot in the dock is misaligned to accommodate an IDE drive When a Quantum drive is inserted into the S865 dock, the drive fills up completely fill out the hole and needs to move it 1/8" toward the back of the docking station so that the IDE connector on the drive aligns with the connector on the docking station I have not received an email response from the seller regarding the limitations of this product.
