I made a big mistake trying to install this memory on the new Intel based Gigabyte Z590 UD AC (latest bios for today). I didn't read the instructions for the board and initially installed the memory in slots A1 and B1. After trying different settings for several hours and not booting with XMP, I remembered that in the previous days switching slots could break the operation. So I moved the memory to slots A2 and B2. On the very first try, the RAM booted to 3600 @ 1.35V (as advertised) while setting up the XMP profile (one key press). I went back to the board manual and sure enough, that's how they recommended installing it. Populate A2 and B2 with two modules, then use other slots when adding RAM. This seems to be a common issue on Intel platforms based on research. It would be as easy as peeling pears if I followed the directions. It would be nice if Mushkin added a reminder in the quick install guide to try different slots if you're having trouble. It wasn't easy and believe me I can't afford to lose again.
