Review on πŸ’§ Stay Hydrated on the Go with CamelBak Eddy Water Bottle in Palm, .75-Liter Capacity by Dontra Majmudar

If you're really picky about your bottles, this probably isn't for you.

Overall this is a pretty good water bottle but there are a few downsides. I had no problems with the mouthpiece falling off, which, as many reviewers have written, bothered me greatly. . I didn't want to buy another mouthpiece for my bottle but luckily I had one left! I had this bottle for a month and a half and it still worked very well, almost like new. The slit in the straw can lengthen over time and cause leaks (I've had one before), so be aware. I have not noticed any other leaks in this or any other CamelBak Eddy Bottle other than this issue and it takes a long period of rough use to resolve this issue. Some of the nurseries were so bad you could open a straw and splatter in your face (kids are pretty hard on them). But I didn't have any problems with that, which was nice. I accidentally froze it a few times and it held up pretty well. I don't think the manufacturer says it's dishwasher safe, but I've only put mine in the dishwasher from time to time. I've found that the straw that comes in the bottle does get stained/mouldy (but not very rough) even after going through the dishwasher, so you might want to replace it every few months. I haven't followed the dishes very closely though, so it might just be user error. However, I did NOT notice ANY mold growth on the part of the drinking straw. It might be my tendency to drink slightly acidic and cold drinks (I put lemons/limes in the water) but I haven't noticed much mold if you really clean it from time to time instead of just leaving it on. . The only thing I really don't like is that the part of the lid where you hook your finger to carry it isn't very comfortable, but I mostly carried it in my pocket so it wasn't big problem for me. Overall I really like these bottles and you should get one if you a) wash it at least every week or sob) can't put super cute stuff in it (it will lead to mold growth so if you want to do that buy something else or wash after each use) c) won't put too much strain on your water bottles. I've used mine mostly every day and it's not particularly easy for me, but if you're really hard on your water bottles don't take this. Mainly because the straw tears and flows. Otherwise he's pretty resilient. It scratches a little, but not very noticeable, so don't worry.
