Review on Gates 38170 Belt Tensioner Assembly by Dan Myers

I purchased this tensioner assembly for my automotive repair shop and was extremely disappointed with its performance .Thanks to my knowledge gained in practice I could identify its flaws right away. It simply doesn't fit well and won't stay in place even after securing it tightly. The only pro is that it is inexpensive but the cons outweigh it greatly. I wouldn't recommend this product to fellow mechanics or car owners..
