Review on Enhanced Motorcraft YH1716 Blower Motor Resistor for Optimal Performance by Lance Jenkins

Runs like clockwork. Very easy to install. 10 minutes and all fan speeds are there again. There is a helpful video on youtube. On my 2003 expedition, I pulled out the glove box (slightly) and saw the drag on the left side. Separated it - it was a bit tight, had to press down center at bottom and roll it up. (Head #8 is used to unscrew the resistor - 2 screws). I installed a new resistor, tightened the bolts, reconnected the wiring harness and latched the glove box and I'm back in business. Your installation may vary depending on the car/truck model. I spent a few bucks more on the Motorcraft brand. Cheaper brands might work just fine, but at this price point I didn't want to take any chances.
