Overall this is a good file at a low price. There were scratches on some parts. I'm not sure what it is, but I don't think it will affect how it works. On low settings, the file makes a buzzing noise that annoys my dog. So if you're sensitive to noise, this might not be for you. As you can see in one of my photos, some of the sanding belts were somehow hot bonded leaving large build ups of glue? I've never heard or seen this before, but I'll just call it cheap because I've used one with lots of glue and it sands great. I used polygel for my kit. I fixed my right hand which had 2 nails popped out and a rose. Since I first did this I haven't had much nail growth so I've been waiting for the file to arrive to restore it. He polished it well.
