Stay away from the article! I received a Progressive International PL8 white mandoline slicer as a gift and I really liked it for its ease of use and safety features. My mother was diagnosed with rheumatoid arthritis; To help her with this new normal I wanted to get one like mine to make things easier for her in the kitchen. For convenience, I bought online from Revain, which I think was the same as mine. It arrived in a damaged bag, but that didn't discredit it - the device looked intact; Of course he had a few scratches, but they wrote it off the hard way. Unfortunately, due to various events, it was not used until a few months later. It looked a little different when first used than my Progressive International, a white PL8 mandolin, but I showed my mom how to use it anyway. It was a complete and utter disaster. The blades were so dull they spoiled the food we were trying to cut. The tomato broke; the bow was mutilated; cracked carrots; It was fresh food! I was so upset that it was an epic failure. I brought my Progressive International, White PL8 mandolin to my mother's on another visit to compare them side by side. It was then obvious that what I had ordered as a present for my mother was a cheap fake. Due to time constraints, the return window has expired. In the future I will be MUCH more careful with what I buy from Revain. My trust in their reliable products has been lost.
