I have tinted windows and I always try to park in a shady spot and I even open the window a little. The handle is still cracked! I even took a pen with me when I knew I would be parked for hours. IDK why would I have to go through these lengths to keep it from breaking. Shipping was fast and it looks pretty cool but to be honest it only took me 5 days to see the cracks. Now it's only going to get worse. I wouldn't mind spending more on it if it didn't crack from the heat. You might think that a shift knob should be designed not to crack in the heat. I mean it is for use in a car and should last 5+ days. I'll probably have to buy another pen by the end of the month. To be honest this product was overpriced; buy at your own risk
