Very cool and unique tool. At first I was skeptical. The instructions weren't very clear, but it splits the tube. Very easy to use and fits anywhere.

I have been drawing for 31 years. I bought this great idea but it's probably a gun. But I love this shop! People say it doesn't work? You are doing something wrong because I worked the case all day with no problems.

Updated the rating - suddenly it hasn't progressed for a month. You have to take the hose out and put it back in and take a hit or two and then nothing. I'm so sad how much I loved him. Went to the manufacturer's website and nothing was reported on this issue to even help. I ordered another cartridge gun but not this one. sad

Bought one of these for work and was happy to use it, trying to gently apply silicone with a large caulking gun around residential buildings is annoying. Then I realized that there is no way to release the pressure and stop the flow, so I can't use it on silicone. What a shame really. It's a neat design and can be really useful, but the lack of pressure relief makes it useless.

I had high hopes but it just slides down the pipe. If I push hard or try to hold the tube with my hand, the plastic pieces on the clutch lever fall apart. Great idea, but not ready for the market yet. Maybe some parts should be metal. Traction on the outside of the tube definitely needs improvement. Maybe good with a soft seal or a larger bead.

Media failed to load. I really like the concept of this caulking gun, it's light, handy and compact. but it only worked well for me for the first 2 inches of silicone, after that the gun just doesn't hold the hose and doesn't apply the pressure needed to get the silicone out. He took out the hose and put it in different positions and works as long as there is pressure where the hose stops rising and the silicone doesn't come out. This gun seemed pretty fancy until I tried to pull out my first partially used seal tube. To do this I needed a vise to hold the tube and then I couldn't put the used tube back into the gun later for reuse no matter how hard I tried. It might work for you if you shoot a full barrel every time you use this gun, but it doesn't work for most of us.
