Nice little easel. I am satisfied with its lightness and the quality of the materials. There is one bizarre design flaw, however, in that it won't hold up on top of canvases less than 18 inches tall. So even paint horizontally on a 20x16 inch canvas. You have to deal with the canvas moving back and forth everywhere. I honestly never thought to consider minimum sizes. That is very strange. However, I have attached some photos of a simple solution to this problem. A small piece of wood with a hole drilled in it, 2 washers, a nut and a bolt allow you to attach your own bracket to secure the top of your under 18 inch canvas. This allows you to attach a canvas of almost any size. . The fix took 5 minutes to verify and I am happy with the ease otherwise I give it 4 stars. Hope this helps someone else 😊.
