My new favourite: collars
Me and my dog like it too - the handle is at an odd angle at first but loosens up and becomes less uncomfortable. I love the adjustable setting, it's the perfect size for my dog. She is exercising (responsive to other dogs) and recently an off-leash dog came running to us. She handled it well but I feel better with that extra reassurance.
