The great hardware design of the Series X is what swayed me to pick a console from Microsoft this generation. In this regard, the SX is doing very well: the console is absolutely silent even in very difficult scenes, you can safely play at night without disturbing anyone. A strict appearance is also an important detail for me, the Sony console looks like a Chinese vacuum cleaner that I want to put somewhere far away. And this is not the case for a device that is in the living room. The complete gamepad is no good, very cheap plastic and a clicky cross. As a result, I play on the first generation Xbox Elite Controller, which worked without problems with the console. I liked the Quick Resume feature, which allows you to keep several recently launched games in a frozen state and quickly switch between them. True, it does not work with all games (even single ones, about network ones, and so everything is clear). At the same time, the console can even be disconnected from the power supply, the OS with games fall asleep directly on the SSD. The advertised GamePass subscription is very overpriced in my opinion. Only games from internal Microsoft studios are constantly present in it (and even then not all), the rest of the games are rotated in a completely unpredictable way. The game may appear in a subscription for a year, or it may get into it for three months, Microsoft does not publish information about the timing of the games in the subscription. And of course, only basic editions are available by subscription, DLC will have to be purchased separately.
