Used as a barrier between the kitchen (their space) and the hallway. Not all gates are created equal and I always choose a nice but well constructed heavy metal gate to protect my dogs. It's a busy door and my family goes there dozens of times a day. But for now the gate needs minimal adjustment (all tension gates should be checked/tightened regularly). I have purchased Regalo and Summer Infant branded goals in the past and have been very happy with the price, style and functionality. I'm glad that goal worked well too!
