Review on πŸ—‚οΈ Lehigh 13200 Organizer - Pack of 5 in Silver by Chad Carter

Hard, solid grip to hold things.

I bought these to attach a selfie stick to the ceiling joist so I can film my workspace from above while I do my craft class. This turned out to be the cheapest and most convenient solution for me since it only required a selfie stick ($20 and 1 of those clips for $5 a pack). Since the stick comes with camera and phone mount adapters, I just plug in my phone and I have a film rig for about $25). These clamps are a bit stiff, which is both a good and a bad thing. On the one hand it holds up pretty well when something snaps, on the other hand it's difficult to push the object through as it's very stiff. It scratched my selfie stick a bit when inserted/removed (not that I care), so I see potential for it to be able to do the same with whatever items someone wants to put in it. I think this may increase wear on the broom's wooden handles and potentially increase the risk of splinters. This will most likely scratch the metal handles and chip the paint on the plastic coating, which can expose the metal and accelerate it to oxidize and rust. They'd probably be a little better if they had a rubber coating or something to reduce the chance of damaging the things they're holding. However, I feel that they offer a solid clip at a good price. I seriously don't think anything will come out of the clips easily. I moved the selfie stick around a bit while setting up my phone, pausing/starting recording, etc., but it didn't come out. Although it wobbled which I didn't like if I had room to use 2 clips side by side I think that would solve the wobble but I can only attach one with room for a selfie stick grip. If you're looking for an inexpensive top down video solution above your workspace, it's very good if you have rafters (my workshop is in my basement and there's no real ceiling installed), but I'm considering putting rope or tape across it Front of the clamp to reduce wobble and keep it more securely in place during use.
