Review on Wishcotton Women'S Lightweight Slippers With Cozy Memory Foam, Ladies' Summer Closed Back House Shoes, Indoor Outdoor Non-Skid Rubber Sole by Tyrone Narvaez

Acceptable slipper but not fabulous

I admit I'm on a quest for the perfect slipper (comfortable, good indoor/outdoor traction, easy to slip on/off, stays on my feet, and has a supportive foot bed). I also admit that I am not willing to spend a huge amount of money for shoes I only wear around the house. In this case, you basically get what you pay for. It's not the perfect slipper but it is certainly functional. I'm a size 8.5 and therefore ordered a size 9, based on other reviews. The slipper is a tad too large for me (as you'd expect given that it's half a size larger than what I normally wear), but it does stay on my feet, and gives me extra room if I want to wear them with socks. Given the original advertisement, I'd hoped for a thicker, more supportive foot bed. Unfortunately, it is thin, but not to the point where I can feel the floor. I don't think this slipper would be effective for anyone looking to alleviate lower back, ankle or knee strain. However, it's fairly comfortable for what it is, and the traction on my hardwood floors is good. I like that the product description says its machine washable. I'll keep them and see how long they last, while I continue my hunt.

Pros
  • Closed Back Heel -High back lip keeps your slippers snug on your feet and your heel from slipping out, securing you when walking up and down stairs; easy to slip on without a shoehorn.
Cons
  • The slippers can have a weird fit or shape that doesn't conform to the foot
