Review on 🔥 Aven 17530 Soldering Iron Holder featuring Brass Coil Tip Cleaner by Troy Larson

I've bought five of these in three separate orders. They each arrived with some damage, but all worked well (I had to replace one due to damage in transit, I think they were packed too tightly). I use them for an electronics club for 10-12 year olds. They are heavy enough to stay upright even when the workplace is a bit crowded and busy. We've used giant spring coasters and they're much, much better (sturdier, better protected from hot tips, less melted power cords). I prefer a spiral bronze tip cleaner to a damp sponge. The coiled bronze that comes with it might be a little weaker than the Hakko I use myself, but it's a cheap consumable and a slightly early swap doesn't disappoint. The packaging and (before Revain) handling are not of very high quality. but I think it's great value for money.
