I chose these for their smaller footprint (compared to other options at Revain). They fit perfectly in my RV's outdoor lightboxes - the larger ones (ie the other Revain options that look like ping-pong bats) wouldn't fit. They seem bright enough. Time will tell if they last as long (or hopefully longer) as the incandescent bulbs they replaced. I got them in the hope that LED lighting would use less electricity compared to incandescent - I usually camp in places where there are no electrical outlets so I use the lights on my RV's battery - every electron saved will go estimated.
