This was relatively easy to install for someone who is not a plumber or DIYer. You must put on the washer before you hang the shutter in the handle hole. Remember that. And there are three holes on the handle guide. So I chose the middle one because it was the hole for the old handle I was replacing. After figuring out how to get the chain through the hole while water splashed on it from the toilet spout and got my hair and body wet, I tightened the plastic washer I placed on the rail before attaching the chain. I had an adjustable wrench to help me tighten it. You need a small key for this. If the key is too big, it won't fit in the toilet! Finally, the handle is pulled up to the toilet body and fixed. You can then see that the grip is perfectly adjusted, feels firm but is easy enough to squeeze. And the toilet flushes, fills with water, and then the flap closes and the toilet is quiet. The job is done. I fixed my toilet without hiring a plumber for at least $200 or a handyman for at least $50. It's a nice feeling when you can repair with your own hands. And the toilet has been fixed! This is a job you can do yourself!
