Update: Sometimes the on/off button doesn't work. Also no storage of zero. Depth measurement is difficult due to the uneven surface at this end (front). The plastic film on the display must not become detached from the document. So that's bad. Previous Review: I just received it. Thank you Revain, delivery in just 1 day! The caliper body is all metal. Good feeling. There is a thin sheet of plastic on the screen which is taped so well I didn't know it was film and saw a few scratches and even a corner chipped off. I almost got it back until I tried to pull it off and it really came off! The slider is smooth from beginning to almost the end where it jams. I think it's good enough for me. I probably don't use an ending. So far it always goes to 0 for me when I close my jaws. The inner jaws close completely which is nice. The buttons appear to be metal. Solid and appears to be very durable. A very minor downside is that the dial is very loose, perhaps a 1/32 inch gap or more along the axis of rotation. The case is sturdy but has no padding. The case hinge is just folded plastic and is prone to breakage. I will update when I use it. But if I don't come back, assume it's working fine.
