I usually use the Blue Stone brand, but I tried the promising 250 watt IR lamp because it was a lot cheaper at the time. Bought on October 14th 2019 and tonight it just died. The return period is only one month, and the service life of such lamps must be at least six. All but one of my Bluestone bulbs have lasted at least eight months. The one who didn't last replaced me when he died three months later. I use it with a thermostat for my hedgehog so it's on and off 24/7. Be sure to choose a blue stone instead!
