The standard fan arms that came with our ceiling fans weren't the best. The easiest way to do this was as part of a major renovation. At first I was a little concerned that they would be plastic and not glass, but they certainly were. In fact, they come in a protective foam inside a small cardboard box for protection. While the pull chains are longer, you can easily adjust the height by cutting off the "plug" end and then simply inserting it into the clasp on the fans. I love the quality, especially for the price. Set up in a dark hallway, they are amber in color so even with the lights off in that area they are visible enough to be easily seen. the old standard lamps were dark brown which were practically invisible unless you turned on the hall lights first. Whether it's form or function, these jabs tick all the right boxes. I would recommend them to anyone looking for fans.
