So I'm pretty sure it's good for metal but the product listings say it's good for leather too and I can't help but agree. It creates circles around the image and I had to click on it 6 or 7 times to create an easily noticeable indentation. I wasn't looking for a crop or anything, but the distance between the image and the base needs to be greater so that the circle around it isn't visible. If I didn't have other plans for this kick, I would return it.
