Wooden Jewelry Box

When I opened the box I was both disappointed and happy. The colors of these wooden stones are beautiful - coral, orange, turquoise, navy blue, purple and red. The chiseled edges and colors remind me of jewels. However, they are much smaller than I expected. I have a set of wooden color balancing bricks and thought the colored bricks would be fun, but they are 3 times smaller than what we already have for the same price. The other set I had came with a cloth pouch with velcro closure and this one came with a plastic drawstring pouch which I assume won't stand up to very heavy use. Also, they came in a plain cardboard box, so they're not that nice to give away because it looks like I made them at home and then put them in a cardboard box. If it's for your own child, then it probably doesn't matter. Overall they are cute and because they are small they can be easily manipulated by small hands. I love this item for its ability to have a lot of open play. You can build with them or create projects with them. They can be combined with other items for more creative play. For example, build bridges for cars from matchboxes, set up benches for characters, create obstacles for dolls or animal toys.

Pros
  • THE BEST GIFT FOR CHILDREN. Wood is a natural material and as such has various unique markings. Differences in wood color, grain, knots, texture or color transfer are all natural phenomena in these hand-painted wood products. These unique variations and markings are a testament to quality. Thanks to the excellent processing technology, each piece of wood has a unique commemorative meaning, like a work of art. Wooden balancers make the perfect gift for people of all ages
Cons
  • Without machine
