This is a high drafting chair and it meets my needs. It would be nice to have a higher back, or at least a little give, but for the money it's not bad. The only real complaint is with the packaging. In the box it looked like they just put everything together without worrying about breakage. The telescopic sleeve came with a crack. Barely noticeable, especially after assembly, so not worth sending back, but there is something to note. All 5 ends of the base were also slightly worn at the top. Since I use it in my garage for my home office, it's not worth going back, but giving some thought to whether aesthetics are important when using this chair.
