Maybe water got in.

Lighting and wiring harness were easy to install. As I lowered the trailer into the bay to pick up the boat, I noticed that air was escaping from both. After the boat was loaded I checked the lights and there was no water dripping. When I got home and put the trailer in the garage for the winter, I put paper under each of them. The water never ran out. There is no sign of water in the lenses. I hope the light will work next spring.
