I used these to create a Hogwarts themed Halloween decor on my porch - it worked brilliantly. Tip: Drill a small hole in the top of the flame and thread your string through the hole so they hang straight. If you wrap it around the flame's neck, they will hang askew and it won't look like it. The only downside is that there is no remote control or timer, so they have to be turned on and off manually. I really like the subtle shimmer and the color is just right - from a distance it really does look like a floating candle.
