I recently installed a 4 inch zone lift on my wife's 2002 Jeep Grand Cherokee Overland WJ. I rode a Nitto Trail Grappler 285/70R17 which is 32.99 inches tall and about 11 inches wide. I mounted them on 17x7.5 OEM Gladiator JT Rubicon wheels. I first tried 2" wheel spacers and they were totally incompatible with this setup. Without wheel spacers, the tires rubbed on the lower wishbones and even touched the JKS anti-roll bar decoupler. To my surprise, not many companies make 1 inch wheel spacers, most of them are 1.5 to 2 inches thick. These 1" wheel spacers are PERFECT! Now I want to warn people because they are only 1" thick, the original studs that the spacers attach to, they protrude beyond the spacer as opposed to 1.5 to 2 inches, where the stud is shorter than the spacer thickness OEM Gladiator wheels now have cavities on the wheel mounting surface between each wheel stud hole where the original studs had room to fit and not cause installation problems If your wheels do not have these cavities, you will not be able to securely mount the impeller to the spacer causing handling issues and making your impeller likely to fall off due to the bolts breaking.I will come back and update the photos when I can and will update if they fail.
