The unit appears to work within advertised limits but it does not have a replaceable fuse and there does not appear to have been a trip or safety feature when the unit is overloaded. Therefore, outputting 150W or more will damage the device without requiring a reset or repairable solution to keep it usable. So for powering a laptop or a small LED TV it works more than well as long as you know the power consumption of the devices you intend to use and don't go over the 150W limit. Otherwise you risk damaging your device. My first unit blew up and I was able to get a replacement with no problem so I have to support the product but found out the fuse advertised was actually wires soldered directly with no fuse which is why I deducted 3 stars.
