It's cheap and very convenient
When I got the USB-C phone I was very sad that I had to replace all my cables but these things saved me. They do exactly what they say and saved me the hassle of changing my 6ft cords. They are a bit long but I don't know how that could have been avoided. I've also had cases where they accidentally didn't work with cables that otherwise work. Not exactly sure what the problem is, but I blame the cable as the adapter works great with other cables.
