The instructions on the box are very simple and they encourage you to go to their website for more information and videos. The kit as it is is pretty easy to use and comes with everything you need to make cider other than the cider/juice itself. I finished and bottled my first batch and had bad thoughts about it. It came out very dry following the directions and I drank the whole bottle without getting high at all. I even had a brief taste of apple in my throat before just breaking away from the diluted apple. I used organic, locally sourced cider as the base and I know that choice influences the final product. but also the yeast it comes with (I found out later when I started experimenting with mead). This is a great kit for getting gear and learning the easy way to make cider, but you won't get good cider just by following their rules. I'll have to address the sweetness (if that's possible) and then use a higher sugar content in future batches to get a good ABV percentage and sweeter taste.
